Some Christians interpret Romans 9 as God’s election of individuals to eternal salvation and others to eternal damnation.  In other words, we have no choice or free will in our destiny.  Frank shows why this interpretation is not the correct one—Romans 9 is about the election of the nation of Israel, not individual salvation.  Nevertheless, Frank shows how we can be both chosen by God and also free.
