Their debate opponents are Rev. April Johnson, who is a lesbian minister serving at a church in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Rev. Ladale Benson who also serves in various ministries in Charlotte.  

Frank and Michael argue that in order to love people you sometimes are required to oppose what they do. April and Ladale argue the opposite view.
