An exciting 9-week study!
Making Your Paths Straight: Real Life Wisom from Proverbs, Teacher Workbook
By: Frank Turek
The teacher version of the companion workbook to be used with the DVD series. Pages are identical to Student Workbook, but answers are provided.
How to Use this Workbook
We are about to take a journey through some of scripture’s most timeless wisdom: major themes in the book of Proverbs. This material is 3,000 years old, but I think you’ll be amazed at it relevance. In fact, I didn’t really understand the depth and relevance of the book of Proverbs until preparing to teach this series. If I had done this study earlier in my life, it certainly would have changed some of my decisions and improved my results!
This workbook follows the order of the accompanying DVD set from the I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist TV show. The idea is for you to watch each show with this workbook in your hands, which contains the lesson notes and space for you to add your own insights. After the video lesson is over, please go back and read through the notes more carefully because the notes contain even more than what is said on the video. At that point, you’ll be able to answer the questions at the end of each lesson and have a discussion about them with other people in your study group.
As with any study, the goal is not to just learn but to apply and share what you’ve learned. There’s nothing more foolish than knowing what’s right but refusing to do it! So make a commitment that you will, with the Lord’s help, be not just a hearer of the Word but a doer!
